Disney Starlight- Nighttime parade
What I’m most looking forward to is the new nighttime parade coming to Magic Kingdom. Nighttime there has always been my favorite, and I LOVE ending our night with fireworks, and this gives us 1 more special nighttime activity. I’m also looking forward to being able to enjoy this (hopefully) during our next trip in 2025.

Disney Parks Blog - Villains Land Concept Art
I am absolutely pumped for the Villains Land coming to Magic Kingdom. I assume since this was the biggest announcement that they saved for the end of the presentation, that most people are excited about this!
I really do think that Disney Imagineers can play off of an all time great attraction, The Haunted Mansion, and create a spooky but also family friendly environment that can be so fun. The concept art seems to be more in favor of the spooky instead of the silly parts of Villains, which I like. I’m hoping they can thread that needle, let Universal do the super creepy and terrifying stuff with Halloween Horror Nights.
This new land can also be tailored to the already fun Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party. Maybe, geared towards kids that are a little bit older and adults that want a small scare! It also will hold two rides, one looks to be a rollercoaster and I will never say no to a new Disney coaster!
Bittersweet Announcement
Disney Parks Blog - Cars Land Concept Art
One announcement that came from D23 was that a version of Cars Land is coming to the Magic Kingdom. I’m assuming that it will be placed somewhere beyond Big Thunder Mountain, though it wasn’t specified. Our 4 year old would absolutely be over the moon with a Cars Land and unfortunately, we have not been able to take him to Disney’s California Adventure to see the existing Radiator Springs.
We have seen Cars 1, 2 and 3 about a million times each, watched Cars on the Road a ton and own just about every Cars diecast car there is to go along with the Radiator Springs play set. He knows all the songs, we have Cars clothes, bedsheets, Tonies, you name it. A super fan through and through. Knowing that we’ll miss out on bringing him to what would be his dream come true during these peak magical years is bittersweet for our family. We look forward to seeing it come to life when it is finally finished and know he’ll still enjoy whatever it has to offer.
